MTAAP is partnering with MTHF to provide program management and technical assistance to independent pediatric practices that serve as Medicaid safety-net providers in their community. A work group led by a IBH consultant and physician champions from 5 different clinics meet every other month to discuss current barriers, improvements and sustainability resources in a peer-supported and peer-led structure. To join the MTAAP and MHF IBH initiative contact ed@mtpeds.org or liz.davies@mthf.org.
If you join the collaborative you may qualify for a 1-2 year grant available ($75k total) to offset startup costs of hiring behavioral health staff.
All grants include technical assistance from MTHF staff and a data evaluation contractor
Children’s Clinic of Billings received the first pediatric IBH grant in 2022 joined shortly after by Western Montana Clinic! Helena Pediatrics and Mountain Kids joined in 2026.
To inquire about joining the program please email ed@mtpeds.org with your name, clinic name, and number of medicaid patients served.
