MTAAP seeks Chapter Immunization Representative

Chapter Immunization Representatives (CIRs) work with the chapter on vaccination projects and task forces as they arise. Time is mostly spent addressing inquiries from DPHHS and other stakeholders on vaccination related issues and monitoring the national AAP CIR listserv.

Benefits of participating in the AAP CIR ECHO:

  • Increase knowledge and self-efficacy around strategies to increase vaccination rates
  • Provide a forum for participants to connect with and learn from each other to strengthen linkages between Chapter Immunization Representatives
  • Network and problem solve with others
  • Stipend will be provided for participating in an AAP 6 month ECHO.

The AAP is recruiting Chapter Immunization Representatives (CIRs) to join a 6-month learning collaborative. CIRs who participate can earn CME/MOC2 credits, as well as a stipend of up to $2,500.

This 6-month learning collaborative will serve as a forum to foster interprofessional collaboration and share best practices to collectively problem-solve and strategize around expanding partnerships and developing activities to increase vaccination rates in your chapter.

The ECHO will launch on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 12 pm CT and will meet once a month through June 2023; sessions will be held on the 4th Monday of each month for a total of 6 sessions. To learn more, view the attached flyer.

If interested in serving as the chapter CIR please reach out to either chapter president Lauren Wilson or executive director Kylee Bodley. Thank you!
