Maintenance of Certificiation, American Board of Pediatrics

The American Board of Pediatrics has recently dramatically changed the process for maintenance of board certification in pediatrics. Taking the exam is only one component of the recertification process. The ABP feels that pediatricians who participate in maintenance of certification (MOC) learn how to measure quality of care and effectively fill the gaps in their own practice.
